Located in the railway arches underneath Brighton Station, The Brighton Toy Museum is a veritable treasure trove of toys and models throughout the decades; Founded in 1991, this fantastic East Sussex museum boasts a collection of over ten thousand toys and models, including some fabulous antique toys and priceless model railways. Located beneath Brighton train station makes the Brighton Toy Museum the perfect place to visit when either arriving or just before leaving Brighton. Model railway enthusiasts will adore the two large operational model railway layouts (in 00-gauge and gauge 0). There is a huge collection of toys from throughout the decades including classics from Dinky, Hornby, Meccano and Steiff. There is a working quarter scale traction engine and a model Spitfire fighter plane to marvel at too. The Brighton Toy Museum takes you on a journey of toys through time and is a great place to visit.
